Pastor Shelley Carter Burton is a native of Baltimore, MD. She and her husband, Antoine Burton birthed Changing Lives Ministries in Baltimore, MD March 2014. She is a graduate of Coppin State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Health Education. Pastor Shelley is a servant from the heart. She is a two-time breast cancer survivor and continues striving to please God while exemplifying excellence. Sharing her passion for women she utilizes social media as she posts "Survivor Sista' Segments" to encourage, uplift, motivate and inspire women to continue! 

 

Pastor Shelley is happily married to her BOAZ, Pastor Antoine Burton. She is the mother of three beautiful and anointed children, Christopher Carter, Shea Abree, and the late Shekia Tené.  Through the joyful union, she has become a bonus mom to her s’kids (because they remind her of S'mores.... also warm, gooey and good) Takeara Antrelle, Tyler Antoine, and Trinity Makayla.  Her love, care, and genuine concern for the well-being and spiritual development of her own children has grown into a passion for other young people.

It is evident that the favor of God rests on her life, as she has overcome every obstacle that has come to demolish her destiny.  She is committed to doing the will of God, sharing the word of God, and testifying about the goodness of God everywhere she goes. A woman of great faith and a believer in the power of prayer and worship, Pastor Shelley Carter rests in Ephesians 3:20 Now unto him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.
